The building is a Class A two-story office building located on Main Street on the south side of Lakewood's new Town Center Retail Complex. The property is located directly east of the Lakewood City Hall.
CAPITAL 5000 BUILDING
Tumwater, WA
This building serves as the headquarters for the State of Washington Insurance Commissioner. The building is 46,080 SF and has 168 parking stalls and 6 E-charging stalls. Intercity transit is located immediately in front of the building for easy public access.
PUYALLUP BUILDING
Puyallup, WA

Kirkland, WA
MJR designed and entitled this medical pavilion located near Evergreen Hospital with excellent visibility to I-405. Building systems were designed to meet medical and dental needs in the 54,395 sf building.

This project was challenged by a difficult site, under which ran two active gas pipelines, and the building now includes an indoor gun range that required specialized HVAC and protection systems

Bellevue, WA
Microsoft’s original headquarters. MJR renovated this 33,500 RSF building and upgraded the technology infrastructure. Includes full height glass, covered parking, and high quality steel and concrete construction.

Puget Power Bldg
Mount Vernon, WA - 1992
The Puget Power Office Building in Mount Vernon, Washington was one of the first projects MJR developed outside of the Seattle area. Puget Power selected MJR Development’s proposal over four others for the design, location, and economic data that MJR presented. During the design, permit, and construction processes, MJR and Puget Power worked together closely to ensure that the building would be just right. The building was a success and is still occupied by Puget Power.

Creekside Center
Poulsbo, WA - 1993
Commissioned by the Engineering Field Activities (EFA NW) branch of the US government, Creekside Center has been exclusively occupied by EFA NW since 1994. The two-story, 42,000 square foot office building was constructed on a gently sloping site near the center of Poulsbo, Washington. Constructed with special systems required for the tenant, the building has state-of-the-art electrical and HVAC systems. EFA NW has been pleased with the tenant improvement plan, which set an open-space plan around a core of offices and conference rooms.

Gaughran Building
Bellevue, WA - 1995
The Gaughran Building was a build-to-suit retail project developed near Bel-Red Road in Bellevue, Washington. The building was constructed using a tilt-up exterior façade and steel internal structure and has a total size of 16,000 square feet. This project was challenged by a difficult site, under which ran two active gas pipelines owned by the Olympic Pipeline Company. Lakeview Place Office Building is a 22,000 square foot class “A” office building located adjacent to Interstate 405 in Kirkland. Its excellent location bordering the 70th street exit allows easy access to and from Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland. The two-story wood and concrete building is constructed over a parking garage and has a stucco and glass exterior. The high level finishes in the lobby and common areas include slate accents. The efficient layout works well for its multi-tenant configuration. Lakeview Place is home to MJR Development.

Federal Way DOL
Federal Way, WA - 2000
The Federal Way state office building was a successful remodel of a brick building originally constructed for and occupied by State Farm Insurance. The existing building was expanded and improved for the exclusive occupancy of the State of Washington. State-of-the-art building systems were implemented, and the 23,000 square foot building has specialized tenant improvements specifically for the State agencies. The State of Washington continues to occupy the Federal Way building, as a very satisfied tenant.

Creekside Plaza
Lynwood, WA - 2001
The Creekside Plaza project transformed an old steel manufacturing facility, considered a dangerous nuisance by the City of Lynnwood, into a new, Class “A”, three-story office building for the State of Washington. MJR used the original skeleton and roof structure of the steel manufacturing facility as a starting point for the new building. Inside the steel structure, MJR constructed three new floors and added an entirely new exterior. New pile foundations were installed to stabilize the existing structure, which sloped over 12 inches from side to side.

Creekside Plaza II
Lynwood, WA - 2001
Creekside Plaza II is the ideal location for a small business that wants to own its own building in Lynnwood. The land is lovely, has excellent freeway access, and looks out over 10 acres of wetlands. MJR will build you a custom build-to-suit building, which you can own for eternity. Creekside Plaza II is a wonderful piece of property located just off I-405 and I-5 in the heart of Lynnwood. It is zoned for an office building and is an ideal place to own your own office. Creekside Plaza II backs up to a large wetland that will always be preserved.

The Lakewood Office Building is a Class A two-story office building conveniently located on Main Street on the south side of Lakewood's new Town Center Retail Complex. Crossroads Plaza
Bellevue, WA - 2006
The Crossroads Plaza was a successful remodel and expansion of a building constructed for Puget Sound Energy. The existing building was improved and expanded for the exclusive use by the State of Washington. State-of-the-art buildings systems were implemented and the 42,000 square foot building has specialized tenant improvements for two state agencies; the Department of Early Learning and the Department of Social and Health Services.

Cedar Valley Professional Center
Lynnwood, WA - 2006
MJR developed these two buildings to be commercial condominiums. Both buildings were high identity, quality tilt up construction. They were designed with state of the art building systems to meet the needs of medical, dental, and industrial users. The main building became the headquarters of Mayes Testing, which included massive testing presses to test the strength different concrete mixes.

Bellevue, WA - 2006
Microsoft’s original headquarters building. MJR completely renovated this 33,500 RSF building and upgraded the technology infrastructure. Amenities included full height glass, covered parking, and high quality steel and concrete construction. It has great access to SR-520, I-405 and I-5. The building was re-leased to a high tech tenant and then sold.

Building C in the Northview Business Park is a two-story Class A office building conveniently located on the east side of I-5 near the 44th Street Exit in Lynnwood. The building is part of a three-building office complex with freeway visibility and adjacent hotel accommodations. Designed for medium to large user efficiency, Building C contains approximately 59,900 on two floors. The fully-finished interior completed by WAMU includes a raised floor system, conference rooms, lunch rooms, loading dock/storage area, and formal lobby.

The site is part of an exciting government focused campus that contains the Lakewood City Hall as well as the Lakewood I building also owned by MJR Development. The combination of the Lakewood I and II buildings, along with City Hall is an example of a government “co-location”. The Puyallup State Office Building was a build to suit building for the regional offices of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and an office for the Department for of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). The Sanctuary, located in Federal Way, WA, is comprised of four Class-A office buildings totaling 250,000 SF. MJR completed a substantial campus-wide renovation project in the Fall of 2020 which completely transformed The Sanctuary into an inspirational campus environment for professional office tenants. UTC Building
Lacey, WA - 2019
MJR developed this building to be the new home for the Washington State Utilities and Trade Commission (UTC). This was a ground-up new state of the art building customized for the unique requirements of the UTC. This included extra security features and a state-of-the-art meeting and presentation area for the public meeting attendees. It also is the greenest building that Washington State leases. Representatives from UTC, the governor’s office, and the City of Lacey were all in attendance for its grand opening in 2019.
